WashiAndInk started with a simple belief: the small things on your desk matter. A pen that writes smoothly, a notebook that opens flat, a pencil that feels right in your hand — these are the tools you reach for every day, so they should be good ones.

We pick small, affordable, well-made Japanese stationery: pens, pencils, and notebooks from brands we love to use ourselves, like Zebra, Tombow, Uni, and Hobonichi. No luxury markups, no clutter — just everyday writing tools that make a desk feel calm and tidy.

Every item in the store is something we'd keep on our own desks. If it isn't useful, well-made, and fairly priced, it doesn't make the cut.
